Accessibility of the online service
We are rebuilding TERA Europe Classic+ so the website can be used with a keyboard, assistive technology, zoom, and narrow screens.
Current status
Evaluation in progress. The service is not yet certified as fully compliant. It targets WCAG 2.2 Level AA and the technical requirements of BGG, BITV 2.0, BFSG, and BFSGV. Each surface must pass testing before that claim can change.
Scope
This statement covers the public website, account area, shop, leaderboards, game reference pages, and the administrative interfaces that remain part of the product.
Measures already built into the release system
- Semantic landmarks, logical headings, and a skip link
- Keyboard-operable navigation with visible focus and Escape handling
- Responsive reflow down to 320 CSS pixels without page-level horizontal scrolling
- Reduced-motion and forced-colors support
- Accessible names, validation messages, status announcements, and table structure
- Four complete interface languages: English, German, French, and Russian
Known limitations under active review
- Complex leaderboard tables, charts, filters, and player detail views still require full assistive-technology verification.
- Account, shop, and administrative workflows are being migrated to the new design and have not passed the final audit.
- Qualified Easy German content and German Sign Language media have not yet been commissioned.
- External services such as Discord and optional video players have their own accessibility limitations.
How this statement was prepared
Prepared on 11 August 2026 from code review, automated checks, keyboard testing, responsive browser testing, and visual inspection. A qualified external assessment remains required before release certification.
